If u think Naan Ee is a simple movie with villain, hero and heroine and usual villain- hero fights, yes its true. But the whole point is hero dies in middle of film without any real love songs. Can you imagine that in Indian film industry. It is a big shocker, but the hero returns as housefly in second life. Wow! what a brave attempt by the director. Hats off to Rajamouli (director of Student No. 1 and Magadeera). The story turns interesting soon after the hero dies. The housefly starts taking revenge for his life and to ensure safety of heroine. I feel the most difficult part of the fly is make the heroine understand that it is his second life. Later heroine helps him to kill the villain and in end he sacrifices life for heroine by being the burning matchstick for canon to kill the villain.
The film has some really excellent scenes and messages. Even a small fly can bring damage to mighty villain- reminded of David - Goliath fight. The fly is determined and he doesn't know his weakness. His goal is important for him. There are umpteen number of failures and challenges, but the nature turns to his favour in climax. Songs are good and acting by Sudeep is excellent. The scene in which he writes "I will kill you" on the glass is very stylish and different. As in the previous movie "Magadeera", graphics is excellent for a Indian movie. Next time you see a housefly, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE IT.
