Killadi - No Hero

The name and the hero being Allu Arjun will speak volumes of zillion amount of masala, thousands of villians, heroines numbering like dancers. You guessed it all wrong. I have respect for Allu Arjun in choosing such an offbeat film with no heroism or masalas and madasalas in it. The movie talks of all walks of life- be it the hero aspiring to be become rich or the prostitute ruunning away or the terrorism or the Hindu- Muslim hatred. Allu Arjun is poor and he aspires to become rich by marrying a rich girl by bluffing, but he turns into a good person, when he finds out the person fro whom he robbed money is the one who gave her kidney for removing poverty in her life, played briiliantly by experienced Saranya. That is just one part of the film. Anushka plays the role of a prostitute running away to be free. This shows no woman like prostitution. They are forced into it and they are dying to escape from it.

However I like the story of Manoj Bajpai, who has superbly acted as a muslim, who is ragged by a police officer, who hates Muslims due to terrorism. We come to the feeling that no one can change his attitude to muslims. Manoj is put in terrorist case and is sent to jail too. The climax happens in a hospital which is being attacked by terrorists, which shows nothing but th brutality of terrorist in not even leaving alone the weak and wounded. Manoj helps the inspector in fighting the terrorists. The inspector asks Manoj for forgiveness and helps him too. Not all bearded people are terrorists, but many are good too. Change your preconceived notions. You are not always right and others are not always wrong.
